Civil Case #2: Medical MalpracticePlaintiff, a 64 year old married female, went to three local doctors, complaining of chest pain, indigestion and inability to sleep. After repeated return visits to the three doctors over a course of six days, she was finally given a heart monitor. The resulting heart "strip" showed clear evidence of cardiac problems. Ignoring the "strip" and classic symptoms of heart attack, she was sent home with Mylanta and told to "get more rest." She died at home, the day after her final doctor visit. She was never admitted to the hospital. |
